Set in 1950's Paris, Souvenirs d'Amour is the story of two singers. A black American Jazz singer (Mercedes Nicole) fueled by the promise of racial acceptance and musical stardom moves to Paris to sing in the "smokey caves" and clubs of the boulevard St-Germain-des-Prés, where she competed with the Cabaret Diva (Fathia Atallah) for recognition.
